This restaurant offers the best value for coffee in town, priced at under £3.00. This is a smart choice compared to the higher prices at Costa and Starbucks for similar products. The Baristas at this restaurant take pride in their work, resulting in consistently good coffee. Pete and the Manageress are especially friendly, while others have their moments. This friendly service is crucial for earning repeat customers and often influences my decision on where to go. Keep up the good work, it is always a pleasure to visit this restaurant!

This is our favorite coffee shop in Hull. The staff is friendly and the coffee is excellent. The only downside is the pre-packaged mince pies being sold for £2.50 each when they can be purchased for only £1.25 per six-pack. It would be better to have a local baker create fresh pies for the same price. This would not only improve the quality of the product, but also support a small business. The current pricing has left many customers and staff disappointed and discussing the issue.

Visited today with family -wasnt aware the cafe was no longer a Costa! However, lovely space with plenty of seating. Friendly staff and smart clean customer toilet! Would definitely visit again and highly recommend

Excellent tasty coffee with lovely velvet foam, after many **** coffee's elsewhere, bravo waterstones can't recommend you more highly. Consistent every visit over 4 years

Coffee and a sandwich, there was dirty pots on most tables, l had to clear our table, the table in general was in poor condition, shame really as it’s a good book shop.

Nice surprise to find a cafe in a book shop. Went here many years ago and forgot it existed. This time had lovely coffee and toasted tea cake. Well worth a visit.

Very friendly staff. Lots of seating also a number of news papers to read. Had a bakewell tart which was spot on.
