On the last day of the year, my life clock was half a century. Since the kids are already big, they have little pleasure and time to celebrate with their dad on such a day. For me, this is not a problem, I spent the evening with friends at a dinner show with our favorite Rock ́n Roll Band the “The Firebirds” in Dresden, swinging the dance leg and hitting some of the back years of life. Now it was time to go with my girls and the incoming son-in-law at least once. Since almost all gastronomy was still in the New Year's sleep at the village, I extended my feelers back to Dresden, and was added to the “Watzke am Ring”. After travelling from Berlin to Dresden by train, we were looking for a place to eat and drink. Near the main shopping area, and on the road we came across this restaurant. Lots of shaded seating outside. We sat down and were served straight away...by a friendly waitress who spoke excellent English. Very busy spot on a warm evening so we assume it’s a local favourite. It was our last night in Germany for a while so we decided to have the schnitzel. It was good as was the Cole slaw but the fries were inedible they...were so salty. Hopefully this isn’t a common occurrence.

Homemade sausages of good quality. We had the no. sausage and currywurst and both were fantastic! With a beer for around euro each. Located just a short walk from Alt market. Didn’t want to leave Germany without having a sausage and glad we...came here.

This place came recommenced to my by a colleague. I was not let down. Both the food and beer were excellent. The services was also great too! I also happened to be lucky to come in on Schnitzel Wednesday!

The restaurant in the center has really good homemade beer and also nice food for everyone match to beer. The waiters are really nice and serve very good. I would go there again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Visited this place with my mother. Food we ate was really good, especially mashed potatoes were amazing. Atmosphere was really nice.
