Normally have a very good experience at this location. However, tonight while waiting in line, an employee named Sue cut in front of me so she could be rang out first. She acknowledged that she saw me, didn't care and proceeded to let herself be rung out. The cashier, Makai was great, attentive and cheerful. In fact, the reason this isn't a 1 star review is because I can recognize jze good employees from the bad ones. He almost salvaged the experience until I went to the food pick up area. They were dealing with a customer who's food was either taken or was not properly prepared. 8/7/21 At about 8:30 PM Highway 36 Leonardo?s local Wawa. I?m a 13 year old writing this review for you. All day I was craving a burger from Wawa. My dad brought me with my siblings to get my burger. When I go back home from picking up my burger. I see that no one even TRIED to make this. Young adults, they wanna work but they put ABSOLUTE NO effort in working. Doesn?t make sense that they want to work but they don?t even try. Good day folks.
This experience was terrible. As an American, I find the atmosphere of fear and the presence of 'citizens on patrol' to be unsettling. I was born in this country and proudly consider myself a true American. I refuse to live in fear. I hope that Monmouth County can return to its core values. I stand firm in my belief that I won't be intimidated, even by Wawa.
Working down the street from this location, I never had a bad experience here considering how other Wawa's can be. The workers are friendly as they make you feel welcomed and grateful for you to be there. Even when filling up your tank, they take the time to do your windows. Old school! Thank you guys for the great service and keep up the amazing work!
