Absolutely loved this little pub! It was November we visited so I'm a little late doing a review as I have only just found the card and couldn't remember the name of it or the people I wanted to name mention. I had trouble trying to find somewhere to eat on the drive home back to (hastings) we finally found this little gem! The staff well great so lovely and friendly the food was brilliant would deffently recommend. A lovely cosy pub all round excellent. Well done to Izzy and Kacie for amazing service and well done chef Aaron keep doing what your doing!
The Anchor in Hope is like a second home to me. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help with a smile. We enjoy coming here for drinks and food, especially on Wednesday nights for Nikki's quiz. She does a fantastic job of creating a lively atmosphere and keeping everyone involved!
I was with friends during the busy time of the festival fayre, however the staff, Laura and Dan were fantastic, checking on us and making sure we were happy with our food etc. Will always recommend this place for friends and family
The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic. The staff have really elevated the pub experience and it's exactly what we've been looking for. Nic is a delight to interact with, but honestly, all the staff are exceptional.

The service was great. The drinks...oh my they were even better!! The foods just reminded me of home. Good festive atmosphere when many of us don't get to go home for Christmas. Keep up the work. I'll be seeing you again.
Drinks and food were served with a smile and laugh from the lovely Nikki, Dan, Em and the cook Peter. It felt very welcoming, the drinks and food were delightful as well. Would defo come again.
