My wife chose Webster House for dinner for her birthday. She couldn't have made a better choice! Our dinner was fantastic. Every grain of rice in our risotto was perfectly al dente. Our salad was perfectly dressed. My salmon was cooked, to the discernability I have, a perfect medium. My wife's scallops were seared neatly and were deliciously buttery. The service was great as well. We felt accommodated without being harassed. The timing of our meal was nearly perfect. As one course was removed from the table the next appeared mere seconds to a minute later. We both had Ol' Fashioned drinks (from the menu) and they were balanced perfectly.
The Webster House was our first lunch stop for KCRW and everything was fantastic. The Cream of Mushroom Soup was rich and earthy, perfect for mushroom lovers. The Fried Brussels Sprouts with Pecorino Romano and Mustard Aioli was a delightful combination. For the second course, the Manzo e Polenta was my favorite - flavorful beef, perfectly cooked polenta, and delicious mushrooms. The Coq Au Vin was also excellent, with tender chicken and flavorful bacon. Overall, Webster House is a phenomenal restaurant with a beautiful location, delicious food, and exceptional service. It's a hidden gem for a great date night.
This special establishment is a hidden gem. The staff in the downstairs shop are incredibly helpful, and the restaurant upstairs is even more impressive. The food is expertly prepared with meticulous attention to detail. The friendly wait staff is always ready to assist with anything you may need. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner spot or a fun brunch with friends, this is the perfect place to go.
We have been coming to this restaurant for years as our favorite dining spot before heading to performances at the Kauffman Center. Every time we visit, we receive excellent service! The cocktails are fantastic, the menu is delicious, and the overall dining experience from start to finish is top-notch and one of the best in town!
