Hands down the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. While Dining at this not so fine establishment with my lady's church group, the lady next to me found a really, really BIG COCKROACH in her food. One of the staff came and took her plate right away. The lady serving us which was great by the way goes and gets the manager. The manager comes in to the room we are eating in and tells the group that one of us must have brought it in. All of us were completely in awe. This Establishment was chosen so that we could come together eat and pray together. No one was trying to skip out on the bill. As all the ladies proceeded to pay their bill the manager comes back in and starts apologiz...
I would attempt this another time but, my experience was mid at best. Our server was either over burdened or just unattentive. We waited a long time for him to check in on us for simple things. He wasn't the one that delivered our food and took him a long time to bring us our check. Again I understand the situation of being understaffed so if that was the issue it was no fault of thiers. But the food was great and the manager seemed to be checking tables as often as they could. I would give this place another try absolutely.
Food is greasy. I ordered a beef quesodilla, and it was nothing more than greasy hamburger. I asked for no chili on the meal and got green chili on the inside anyway. Not Cool. I asked a girl for help and she was rude about taking it back. The actual waitress was amazing at her job and we really enjoyed her. The rest of the staff was okay. My mom really enjoyed her food as usual. I just haven't learned what is good for me to order.
My friend asked me to breakfast on a Sunday, and we went to a restaurant close to our home, but the lines were too long, so I suggested Weck's, west, past I-25 and San Mateo. We were just in time, because the wait was short and the food was great as usual. I always order their special coffee and get an extra plate to go for my husband. He's still eating those Ginormous pancakes, one at a time, for breakfast, lunch, and desert!

We didn 't think this location would be so busy on a weekend... Yeah right! No problem though. We (husband, daughter, and I) were seated right away, received our beverages right away, and received our order pretty quickly too! Everything tasted fresh, delicious, and definitely filled our bellies! With Weck 's, no matter what location, you can NEVER go wrong!
It was our first time in Albuquerque. We were invited out and visited on a Sunday. Zero wait, staff was very friendly. The portions were large so we asked for an extra plate to split and they were very accommodating. They made sure to keep our coffee and water filled. We are moving to the area so we will definitely keep coming back.
We always try different restaurants than what we have back in Ohio. This was a winner. Good prices selections, coffee, pancakes, bacon, sausage, raisin toast. Good fast service. Warm plates, warm syrup.Highly recommend, will try others while out west. Yum!Food: 5/5
Papas! I love the papas! I've never had anything bad from Weck's. The chicken fried burrito is another favorite. The service is superb and the atmosphere is friendly and upbeat. Never ever disappointed! They even know how to handle a Balloon Fiesta crowd!Food: 5/5

My only complaint. 4 of us walked in, and a female staff person mouthed Oh Fu* when she saw us.Our server was great. the food was great, just first impression left a little to be desired.Food: 5/5
