I went to basel last month. I've decided it would be fun to go to the lunchtime in France. it's so close. it is very easy to find this restaurant. there is no need to book a table, but they can do it if you...preferably I have a tramway from basel, it is about 20min drive from basel old town and the tram stop is next to the restaurant. the food was delicious, the waitresses were very nice and helpful. the place is not very expensive. the weather was nice so I could have my meal outside - eskalopes with mushroon sauce amazing. they accept bank cards, euro and Swiss francs. I don't want to see basel again soon, but if I want to visit this restaurant again
an excellent location for a friendly eating and drinking the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, eating is surprisingly high quality with very favorable trips. the personal is very friendly and welcoming. I stayed right next to the restaurant and visited it from comfort and was so impressed that I am sad that I did not visit it earlier. I intend to dinate here as often as I can before I go.
We are regulars, every time we go to St Louis we stop there. Menu is not huge, but everything is really good (salads, meat, chicken, pizzas) and affordable. They usually have a special dessert.We go with kids, and the service is quite good and friendly.
I went to that place so many times because it's just perfect, either for lunch or for an after-work drink. At lunch they have excellent food (the chicken with rice is just amazing) at a very decent price!

Service is attentive, modern Setting. Ok for a drink. Terasse alongside main road not very pleasant. Food is surprisingly ok allthough Basic. Good value for Money. Don´t expect fancy though.
Stopped by for lunch and the special was a roasted chicken leg that was simply divine and the price was incredibly reasonable. The owners seriously know how to cook!

I was there for dinner with my spouse and daughters, the beef was perfect and quick served. We will come here often!
Great Drinks in a nice modern atmosphere! If you enjoy a quieter environment you should go in the week.
