at the arrival they are greeted with a fantastic view of the weinberge. we have recovered our first glass weeping at the skyscraper and taken the intent. the owners and employees make them very welcome and are very helpful. the breakfast is fantastic, everything they could wish. even speck and eggs cooked fresh from the cook on an unusual open fireplace. the food and wee in the restaurant were also good and cheap. also large portions. we stayed here a week so different specialities tried. our room was decorated on the small side, but tastefully decorated and very compact, also a lot of cabinet space. the bathroom is of reasonable size, but the rounded corner shower small, especially for men....
After a great day at South Styrian wine route we stopped at this restaurant for dinner. I guess it specializes in game meat. We had pheasant and deer with chestnuts. Food was very good hearty but not as heavy as typical Austrian countryside food. Desserts...and wine were good as well. I bought a case to take home. over, the service was very very nice. I guess we were served by owner and we also saw his wife. They made as feel comfortable. I saw a terrace, I guess in summer you can eat with a breathtaking view. I would go there again although I heard there are some other good places around as well.

My husband and I recently stopped by this place for lunch. The location is lovely and the terrace offers a great view across the vineyards. The food was OK but certainly not the best meal that I have had in the Weinstraße region. The waiters were not very friendly and the food took quite a long time to come to the table. However if you are looking for a spot with a lovely view whilst sampling some regional food and wine then this is certainly a good choice.
in the afternoon we stopped in the wine and restaurant “Mahorko”. the eating is excellent, the weeping as well as the intention is absolutely stunning. next to the restaurant terrace they have a wonderful open lounge terrace over the vinerys with a breathtaking panoramic view. next to lunch and dinner a perfect place for a cup coffee and a piece of the fantastic house made cake or a glass wine and a relaxing break in the sun with an extraordinary view.
my man and I have recently stopped from this place to lunch. the location is beautiful and the terrace offers a great view over the weinberge. the food was in order, but certainly not the best meal I had in the wine road. the waiters. were not very friendly and the food took long to get to the table. However, if they are looking for a place with a beautiful view, while they eat some regional and wee tasting, then this is certainly a good choice.
this restaurant is located on a hill and dominates the frontian weinstrasse. from the terrace you can admire a wonderful landscape. location is great. typical regional dishes are suggested in the menu and the quality is good. the service is fast. I know the staff doesn't speak. English

Friendly service speaking Slovenian too. I eat really good fried chicken with perfect potatoes salad.For dessert delicious homemade ice cream . Great vineyard view . Price & Food & View & service - very good. We will visit again soon.
