after a hike on the loretta path we returned to the weingut dry. I stayed here while on a bicycle trip along the Mosel. We had a climb to get to the hotel/restaurant but it was worth it. They produce their own high quality wines and both the dry Riesling and their Cabernet were at hit with my group. Donna took care us and kept us in stitches in spite of the language difficulty. I had the steak which turned out to be pork and it was very good. Some at our table had the fish and also raved about the flavor.Nice folks, very nice atmosphere and a wonderful view of the village. We walked up to this hillside location( about a 5 minute walk from town) and were lucky to get a table. I suggest making a reservation. This place is popular. As my title says, the wine was excellent, our meals were large and delicious. As with most restaurants, this is a cash only establishment
