Today my husband and I stopped at the “Zum Halve” ostrich restaurant after a bike ride. A few days before, the wonderfully fragrant grilled vegetables and rosemary potatoes from the large pan had smiled at me as I passed by, so this stop was planned. We immediately noticed the reserved, friendly manner of the service. Thank you for that! The food also impressed us. My husband was very enthusiastic about the grilled meat, while I opted for the vegetarian version of vegetables and potatoes with garlic sauce. That was exactly right! The vegetables were cooked to perfection, not too mushy, not too raw, and the potatoes were fried in delicious oil! The wines rounded the whole thing off even more...
