Very stylish newly renovated rooms overlooking the Moselle. Superb breakfast. On request there are freshly prepared eggs, the selection is large and very tasty. Very nice hosts in this family-run establishment. You should eat here in any case in the evening, the food is freshly cooked and is really good with large portions. Also the wine is delicious, you can also buy it directly at the reception. Approx. 500m to the train station, as a guest you get a map and can drive free train, so you can also hike various parts of the Moselsteig. The section from Moselkern to Kattenes offers a lot of variety with several railway stations in between if one of the paths has become too long (or too long)....

We stayed today with Diakon Wiegand and 17 Katechetinnen at the Weinhaus Fries. We have spent a great evening there with delicious food, good wine, friendly attentive service and a fantastic view from the terrace to the Mosel and Castle Thurant. Happy to recommend!

Very friendly hosts. Very clean and tastefully decorated. O.K.-modern is not always practical.Eatings and wine were very tasty.Words stay there again.
