Let me say upfront that this restaurant is quoted diamonds out of in the Varta restaurant guide. So we went with high expectations. Should at least have been Michelin BIB quality? Outside a nice mansion-like house, nice lighting, terrace etc. Cosy interior, cuddily...heated ..... warm welcome. Breathes the air of a gourmet temple. Other than à la carte the card showed one, three course menu at Ok, not expensive, but since the map showed very traditional plates too, apparantly not different from the ones on the menu, I thought: hmm, let's see what they can do for this amount And so, we took it. We had dinner here on a Friday night. The restaurant had an Italian themed menu with well selected, nicely prepared and attractive dishes. There were also some truffle specials delightful! The service is friendly and professional. They have a great selection of wines, and...can make good recommendations if you are not sure what to try. You should try their house special dessert vanilla ice cream, sea salt and olive oil. An unprepossessing exterior might lead one to drive on by. That would be a mistake if one were looking for good traditional food, well prepared and nicely presented. We lived nearby for a number of years and would stop now and then for a lunch...or dinner. Depending on our mood and the weather we would dine indoors or outdoors. We visited recently after a long absence and discovered to our delight that nothing had changed — a spotless dining room, a friendly wait staff, an interesting menu, seasonal offerings, and consistent, excellent cooking.

I have known this restaurant now for over years. The son of the previous owners now runs it and the quality of the food and the service remains absolutely stupendous. I visited here on a beautiful day in the summer of and sat...out side and enjoyed a superb glass of Kong Pils and ate a wonderful dish of fresh fish. The historic wine house Restaurant Templerhof in Bad Breisig has a very cozy guest room. The service is very competent and extremely friendly in the selection of wines. The dishes served are a culinary delight. Prices are slightly higher, but quite justified. We are happy to honor this wine house again....

We had the saltimbocca and the pork steak. Both were excellent. The sides that came with it (spinach and pasta, and bratkartoffeln were excellent either. Nice wines. Helpfull and friendly staff.

Super cozy environment, very friendly service. The fish tastes delicious. Salad dishes are particularly recommended. Always like it. But you better make a table reservation before. Reserva una mesa ahora

We were very well sealed on the terrace. Very good food at reasonable prices. We'll be back next year.
