my family with two young children has eaten here as it was just a few doors away from the hotel. we had no reservations and had a good chance that they could put us during the COVID times. our waiter was very friendly. he offered child dishes that were not on the menu. my man and I order put steak and cheese late. that is our second time in Germany and it was probably the best spärzle we ever had. the waiter told us it was homemade in the house. You could say it totally. my oldest son had not cooked one of his 5 chickening foxes, which was not a big thing, but we brought it to the attention of the waiter. at the end of our meal, he brought our two young a complementary dish to make himself f...

we stumbled over this place while we explore the city and decided to eat here. the service was very pleasant. there was a mix in the English/German menu that we only discovered after dinner. When we pointed out this to our waiter, he did. repaired immediately without any question. this is not a large tourist city for English-speaking tourists, what makes it beautiful, it is so oriented for Germany that these are to be expected.

on a rainy evening it happened to go to this restaurant. kellnerin was friendly ad that the owner came to help us with the menu. offered to give us 1/2 pages, so we can try more of the pages. I had a boar. in a weeping sauce with noodles that were great. perhaps the best dumplings of the trip - kartoffel, onion bread crumbs.

Our waitress made us feel right at home. The salmon was fine as was the salad. Delicious wines from the nearby staatsweingut were cheaper here (around 1/2 the price) than on an earlier visit to the winery's terrace. Would return.

a dripping for an evening meal, eating was delicious and much of it, reasonable price. good choice of beer and wine. friendly, helpful staff. beautiful atmosphere.
