We got there by taxi after we finish our visit to The Concentration Camp and it was the best decision. We were welcomed by a very nice lady...that happened to be the owner. The Menu for lunch was written in German on a big blackboard and I don't speak the language) but that was not a problem, she translated everything for us, gave us suggestions and gave us taste of wine to make sure that we were happy with our selection. First things first .. I have never had bad food here and I have never had bad wine here... This is a small exclusive restaurant in the old town of Dachau with approx only seats. For this reason I recommend always reserving. The menu...is mixed .with whatever the Chef can get fresh .. The food has always been very good albeit the belongs could be bigger. Why then not five stars? Well the service is good but I find it not exemplary .. Pretty Much always very polite and always able to help and make a recommendation BUT I always got the feeling that as a guest I a not very important in the grand scheme of things... This is what would say an Italian for an expresso which has no taste. Here the expressi are to die for, the food less. Cosy, elegant tiny “Italian” restaurant which offers large choice of excellent wines and Prosecco and limited of food. Tasty prosciutto crudo,...tasty beef but uninteresting fillings of the lobster tortellini. Unfortunately because shrimps were excellent and salsa perfetta. Must return.
