Very nice place for a stop between Krems and Durnstein. Cozy, outside sitting in the shadow of the backyard. We had a very good pumpkin soup, a fresh tomato soup with cream which was according to my wife the best ever. After the soup we continued with excellent tasteful spaghetti in ragout and a pan fried cooked to perfection pike with young potatoes. Lastly we had the famous Marillen dumplings which had been very good as well. This simple authentic but perfect food comes fur a reasonable price! The service is also outstanding with a of Austrian humour. My most favourite place in the Wachau - highly recommended
