We just stopped in here for a snack, so this is in no way a comprehensive review, but as somewhere to get a couple of cups of good hot chocolate and a piece of exceptionally good strudel, we give it our highest recommendation. The location...by the river was convenient, the service – in flawless English was excellent, and the seating both inside and outside pleasant. Early in the afternoon on a weekday it wasn’t crowded, and it was a nice place to take a break.
Zeiss Stube has been a Bamberg institution since forever, it is often disregarded as merely a quick meal stop-gap but it is so much more. The kitchen produces traditional German food, to be precise Frankische Art and it is excellent. Try the succulent pork shoulder...with soft dumplings wasked down with smoked beer. Great service, reasonable prices and a wonderful location.
Goods for walking in Bamberg. The hunger left us here at Zeis. The Zander with salad and bread was the best choice. Boil to the point. The salad is absolutely fresh and the excellent marinade very tasty. Operation very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant Cafe Zeis is recommended Power so on
The restaurant is located in downtown. Various beers are tapped (0.4 l for EUR 3.70). The service is good, the food tasted good. The explanation for the speary visit could be the beer price. Nearby, special beer is served for EUR 3.00 the half litre. Reserva una mesa ahora
Good local food, I can’t say it perfect, but still tasty with moderate price. The outdoor seat is fantastic, there has little pool with several pillar in the middle, good place to take photo
See nice condition. Small cozy place. We were late but still got everything. The food was good and good. With our impressions we can recommend the place.
Good service staff speak english and have english menus which is good. Food wasn't the best we have had in germany but it was ok for lunch!
