I had a recommendation, from my travel partner (sister) this was a must see classy restaurant @Juluspromenade 19, 97070, in Wurzburg My first visit, my sister's repeat visit back in both 2006, 2007, 2008. Bavaria, and I agree, for "a fine dining experience" this was in my topten restaurants during 3rd trip from USA to Germany. After walkingaround the city, along the Main river, on a drop dead gorgeous day, shooting film, the two of us, I am male, (non drinker), were fortunateenough to have a choice table for a early dinner, and the romanticatmosphere, from the furnishings, to the multi lingual waiter, tothe excellent choice of fish (I chose Pike, my sister chose one of theother three choice...
2018 NEW YEARS DAY!!!!! First restaurant of 2018! First dinner of 2018!!! So we visited this pub/Bavarian restaurant while we were staying over in Wurzburg. its a quiet city so at 9 PM this was the only place open! The staff were friendly and the...restaurant environment was nice! it is a university city so lots of young people were inside the restaurant The food was okay! it was not anything memorable but it tasted great and we didn’t get sick so all and all a great experience The price was okay! it wasn’t cheap tho
Zu Dritt kamen wir ohne Reservierung an, daher war im Innenhof alles belegt, aber wir kamen in der Echter Stube gut unter. Wie es sich für eine Traditionelle Weinstube gehört gab es kein Bier. Preise waren fair, Suppen vorweg, danach Sauerbraten, knoblauchsteak und Zander, alles war sehr lecker Die Bedienung war freundlich, jedoch nicht immer sehr aufmerksam.
Hektische Begrüßung, furchtbares Risotto und Wildgulasch von wirklich niederster Fleischqualität. Früher einmal ein gute Alternative zum Bürgerspital, heute nur noch Enttäuschung. Mein Tipp: Ratskeller mit freundlicher Bedienung, guter Lage und Qualität beim Essen. Natürlich ist auch das Bürgerspital gut, wenn auch etwas teuer.

Das Restaurant schwankt zwischen richtig lecker fränkisch und Großküche mit Baukastensystem. In der Spargelzeit super Spargel mit Kalbsschnitzel, war immer top.Was nicht schwankt ist die Güte der Weine und das man auch große Gewächse in 0,1 probieren kann. Alleine deshalb einen Besuch wert!

Von der fränkischen Bratwurst über die fangfrische Forelle zum Wiener Schnitzel...Authentische Regionalküche mit hervorragendem Wein und erstklassigen Produkten. Altes Gemäuer, etwas düster, aber sehr gemütlich!
