The hotel has a very good location with a view from the restaurant/breakfast room or the Boulevard Cafe on the historic town hall and the market square. Rooms are spacious and clean, the sanitary area is very good. Staff in both hotel and gastronomy are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is very good and the chef ensures culinary well-being. Conclusion, more than 4 stars and always like to go there.
We enjoyed a beautiful Christmas dinner here that is up there with the best. This restaurant enjoys a great location right on the market square in Wernigerode and is very tastefully decorated and presented. The staff was friendly and efficient and well copied with my very average German! The food was delicious and well cooked. Overall an excellent experience for our family!
Restaurant was very nice and staff friendly although they could have been more attentive as we had to ask for things and stuggled to get attention at times. My husband really enjoyed the liver dish saying it was exceedingly tasty but my lamb risotto was just ok. It was very hot in the room and we felt it was quite expensive for what you got. My wife and I were allowed to visit this hotel at a nice wedding. We must say it was a great experience! From the gastronomic point of view everything was done right! Great food, wonderful and attentive service! A highlight was, for example, the presentation of the main course. For every good gastronomy can only be recommended!!!!
The restaurant is located in the centre of Wernigerode. Plus: The outdoor seating area is great and overlooking the square in front of the picturesque town hall. The service is good, beer is good. Minus: We wanted to go for Diner here, but it seemed that they changed their menu completely. Not for us.
