Table linen and cutlery nice, they even have the fancy pull off silver lids but the seats are so uncomfortable outside so u cannot relax. The food is well presented but lacked taste. Big portions. We had duck and monk fish and couldn't finish it. The staff take ages to ask if you need another drink. As this isn't really near much we had to eat here both nights and by the 2nd night we were not as excited.

Excellent - efficient and friendly - service. A charming setting. Good, hearty food that lacked that little finesse to have it merit a 'very good' label - I agree with the previous reviewer: large portions don't quite make up for... what exactly? It's almost as though they try to hard. Having said that, the food IS GOOD. Would I return? Yes, definitely if in the area.

Sorry to say that this restaurant did not strike us. Ambience is nice but for the rather steep prices the quality and taste of the entrees are way below average. We ordered the tuna and the monkfish with scallops. Both dishes had exactly the same...More

Very typical German food served efficiently and in a very nice and peculiar location. Quality is very good, I recommend the goose, but it is as heavy as it seems. Good selection of wines but I enjoyed the beer as well. Prices on the average/high.

We were there with 3 children. The accommodations are large and the ambiance is very nice. The restaurant is good and nice priceable. We will go there back again, that's for sure!
