I would not recommend visiting the Wendy's located at 8009 W. Florissant. My experience there was frustrating and disappointing. I arrived at the drive-thru at 9:55 AM but did not get to place my order until 10:25 AM. There was a sign indicating that the ordering system was down and to place orders at the window. However, when I finally reached the window at 10:33 AM, I was informed that breakfast had already ended. They were clearly aware of the broken intercom and should have made an effort to take orders manually, perhaps using a clipboard to assist customers in their cars. Additionally, there was a sign on the window indicating that indoor dining was available, but the doors were locked....
I hadn't visited Wendy's in a while, but I was craving one of their chocolate Frosties, so I decided to stop by after church. I saw they had a $5 special that included a chicken sandwich, fries, a 4-piece chicken nugget, and a Frosty, which was quite a deal! However, all the chicken, including the sandwich, was overcooked. The fries were hot, but it seemed like some old fries were mixed in with the fresh ones—just like they often do. On the bright side, my Frosty was delicious as always! I should have just stuck to getting the Frosty on its own. Next time, I’ll listen to my gut. Until next time, Wendy's, for my Frosty!
If I could give zero stars, I would. I really love Wendy's and was looking forward to grabbing a meal after my flight. However, we waited at the drive-thru for 10 minutes without anyone responding. I decided to walk up to the window to see if we could place our order there. I approached with a smile and in a friendly manner, but before I could even finish my question, the employee responded in a very rude tone that they'd help me soon, then abruptly closed the window. We ended up driving away. I will never return to this location.
Today, I went through the drive-thru and ordered an apple pecan salad with an extra dressing. My total came to $9.42, so I handed the cashier $10.42. After receiving my food, I didn’t get any change. However, my receipt shows a total of $8.42, which doesn't match what I paid. My manager doesn't allow us to adjust the receipt for any discrepancies, but that shouldn't lead to customers being overcharged. I’m quite confused by this situation and would like further clarification.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I called ahead to ask if their desserts were frozen, and they simply responded with "chocolate." When I arrived, I waited for 30 minutes, and after 10 minutes of being there, they informed me that we needed to pay. However, I was told that they had already taken care of it. To make matters worse, the person behind the counter was joking around and asked for my phone number inappropriately. Overall, it was very disappointing.
I want to emphasize the staff at this restaurant. Usually, I don't have high expectations for customer service at fast food places, but this location is truly exceptional! Even during busy times when there are long lines, they keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. All the employees are friendly and deliver outstanding service, which is rare among many fast food chains. I really appreciate the hard work of the team here!
I absolutely love the breakfast from this place, especially the potato wedges. I always stop by when it's not too crowded, but it seems to be busy all the time, with the line wrapping around the building. Despite the crowds, my orders have always been correct, and the food is served hot. The only downside is that it feels like everyone in Jennings comes to the drive-thru at the same time!
If a car places a large order, expect to wait. It took 9 minutes to go from the cashier to the order pickup, and then another 6 minutes for the food to arrive. Additionally, just ordering a large meal doesn’t automatically come with a large drink; you need to specify if you want a large drink. Also, be sure to check that your order is correct.

I ordered the 4 for $4.00 deal, which includes chili. It's ideal for making chili fries and a chili burger, and it also comes with four nuggets. Plus, you get a drink included. You really can't beat the price—everything for under $6.00! I couldn't even finish it all.
