I was very contradictory to give a review of only one star so that I will explain it. the health care in which he was good. I brought my college daughter almost a year ago. the bill was over $30,000 for a few hours because of a CT scan. I do not complain about the height of the bill here; my problem is the entire billing process. it's terrible. my daughter gave her oral permission to share all the information with me, along with the signing of several forms that specify the same. this documentation was not shared with every additional unit that deals with the bills that make my life a living bright. the system is quite broken and urgently needs to be repaired and no one takes care of. no one does everything about the problems. if the hospital shares the billing information with another company, the HIPPA forms should accompany the bill. that would be smart and efficient. instead, any person I'm talking to hide behind the HIPPA laws and refuses to help me pay a bill. that's not the first time I had this problem and I'm sure it won't be the last. as I said, the medical staff does what they have to do. the billing staff reduces the ball and keeps the costs high by time and money inefficient.

West Hills used to be the best hospital in the valley, what happened? You can’t blame it on Covid. It’s just that people have become rude, disrespectful, forgetting that people are people, humans are humans.We all feel the same, we all bleed the same way.Be human! Where is your compassion?Where is your your humanity?Remember what it was to have a courteous voice rather than being rude!How would you like to be treated in the situation?Think about it and treat the patient the same way you would wanna be treated.Think of yourself as being respectful. Would you want to be disrespected?Rudeness breeds rudeness and disrespect.If you want to patient to be respectful to you then you need to be respectful to the patient. Remember if you don’t have a patient you don’t have a job.You may want to consider looking at every patient as a paycheck… Maybe then your attitude will change

When a husband is taken to this hospital it would be great if the receptionist wouldn't put you on hold for 5-10 mins at a time, then scold you for calling! Not once was I connected to the nurse in charge of my husband, yet she scolded me bcuz the nurse had to talk to me! I NEVER spoke to the nurse! When I call later another receptionist (this time a male) tells me to call back in 1.5 hrs because of shift change. I thought this was the best hospital for my husband but seriously, i think you need to rethink who answers the phone, especially in the ER! Sorely disappointed.

All the Nurses where great. They took care of me with extra care. My stay was very pleasant, I felt like I was at home. I have had over 7 out patient procedures in the past 5 years and never a bad moment. I would recommend West Hills Hospital to everyone.
