Westmorland - Reserva de mesa

I’ve stayed here a few times and always given great reviews. Unfortunately, this time I was a bit let down. The room had some large hairs in the shower area when I arrived so that part of the cleaning had been overlooked. I’m not really fussy but these were multiple hairs that were very visible. Then overnight the heating wasn’t on so I was very cold and ended up putting a jumper on in bed until the heating came on around 6, but went off at half 7. And it was cold again. So clearly designed for those leaving early. And that may be most people as there was lots of door banging early on (we had a room by the lift). The check out was 10am, which is also early compared to other hotels these days...

Unexpected stay due to car breaking down on M6. Hotel very helpful with late night booking. Great breakfast the next morning, great value for money. Would definitely stay again. Staff very helpful once we checked out of room, very accommodating as we had to wait for replacement car being arranged. Access for Hotel Guests on private roads BETWEEN North South Tebay Services (check hotels website FAQ), Good check in, very good comfortable beds and 2 chairs. Plenty of parking although spaces narrow. Could well become our favourite stopover on M6. Beautiful hotel l, fantastic fire place to relax by after a long drive. Great food in the restaurant in the evening and a brilliant breakfast to start the day with in the morning.
