My partner and I came in for dinner this evening between 4:00 4:30pm We both ordered the carbonara, which was unedible I ate all of mine simply because I was that hungry. My partner could not eat his. He had about three mouthfuls upon advising staff that the food was absolutely disgusting. The only response we got was a laugh. I spent $93 at a meal in your venue for food that was, absolutely disgusting. I do not believe that I should’ve had to pay $93 for food that I couldn’t eat. We have eaten at the Westwaters Bistro a number of times and the food has always been of a high quality., which is why I was very disappointed with the steaks that we ordered on Saturday night. We both ordered the Black Angus Beef, Grass Fed, 60 Day Butter Aged Scotch, and expected a nice cut of steak, well cooked, that would melt in your mouth. What we both got was a stringy piece of steak that was chewy and hard to cut, partly because we weren't given a steak knife either, but mainly due to the amount of unrendered fat in the meat. I did give my feedback to the serving staff who then passed it on to the kitchen, but at $60/steak I won't be buying one from here again.

The service was bad we had to remind the waiters that we needed to be served as customers who came after we came were being served first. We waited for extremely long times to be served at one time being promised by waitress that she will be back in 5 mins, took 45 minutes and some reminding. We had to remind waitresses that we wanted dessert. A waiter also had any recollection that I had ordered a cocktail from home. Noise was excessive as there were parties going on everywhere. Overall appalling service to say the least

We have dined here on many occasions and has not always been great but not terrible, however it was absolutely terrible on the 15th February 2024. We had NO waiters serving our table at all. I had to keep getting up and go to the bar to get someone to come and take our orders. This went on for the entire night. The food was not good and seemed like it was from the day before. Very disappointed. Should have read the other reviews first. We were seated near the door downstairs. Every time someone came in there was a very cold wind. We ordered our meal and drinks and waited a good 20min for the drinks to arrive. Our entree was nowhere to be seen. Eventually it came out about 35m after ordering……along with the main meal! Poor service by pleasant but overworked staff.

Too long for staff to take orders, bring cake, plates. Etc. Then forgot half the things. Such as cake knife and Serviettes. Nothing much for my coeliac daughter to eat apart from 3 bowls of vegetables which are side dishes. We ordered the gluten free dips to be told there are no gluten free dips even though that’s how they’re advertised

The wait staff were great. But the service was slow. They were apologetic and acknowledged that it was busy. The restaurant is lovely with great views. Perhaps add in staff when it gets crazy like last night. Other than that though, we will go back

Menu for seniors has not changed in years. Nice staff Fish n chips Heavy on salt Lovely place to meet friends

it was not what we expected was up market pub, too noisy and food was good but nothing to recomend.
