I first learned about Westwood Tavern from the I'm Fat Podcast and decided to check it out. When I visited on a Monday evening, the restaurant was about half full. The highlight of the space is a large bar surrounded by high-top tables and booths, creating a sophisticated sports bar atmosphere. The menu features a variety of options, including sushi from Yessushi, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. I couldn't resist trying the Foot Long Short Rib Grilled Cheese, which was absolutely fantastic. It consisted of three melted cheeses and short ribs on brioche bread, accompanied by a bowl of tomato basil dipping sauce and a choice of side. This is a lovely and bustling restaurant that serves an excellent breakfast. You'll notice it's quite noisy, but it's not bothersome. It's highly advisable to make a reservation in advance. The service is prompt, and the food quality and flavor are outstanding. The portions are also generous. I hope that those reading my review have an even better experience than I did!
This restaurant has a nice environment and was very clean. Plenty of televisions to watch multiple things at a time. Lots of tables so we didn’t have to wait, even on Friday night. The service was good. The short rib foot long grilled cheese was pretty tasty. The food was a bit pricey for what it was though.
Westwood is a fantastic bar with a lovely atmosphere and tasty food. I visited for a happy hour event after a conference, and even though it was busy, the service was quick. There were several TVs displaying American football (and I admit, I prefer soccer). I would definitely recommend this place.

The food was really good! This was one of the few places around that had space on a Friday night. The burgers were slightly over cooked and the beer was a bit old but other than that it was good. The waiter was ok and he was polite. Overall good vibe, just a little expensive.
The service was satisfactory, but the food was too expensive for what you get. The portions were small, and the flavor was disappointing. It had more of a low-quality bar food vibe, yet it came with a high price. We won’t be coming back.
We make it a point to visit when we’re in the area. Sat at the bar and shared a Mediterranean Salad and Signature Roll. Plenty of food for us. Along with a few drinks of course. Lively vibe and fun crowd for a Wednesday evening.
The reviews for this restaurant are quite mixed! Since many of our friends live in trendy areas, we thought we would give it a shot for my husband's birthday.

I haven't been to this restaurant since 2011, and it remains the best bar in the Foam Castle area. We stopped by for dinner and drinks on a weekday.
