I worked, for a short time at the w.g. grinders that was on sawmill back in 2008. I loved the food and had the extra time so it was perfect. At that time, everything presented, positioned, and made for purchase to customers was orderly, clean, appetizing and the location was open and clean. Since I 've moved away and now came back, I was so disappointed that this location didn 't exist anymore and neither did the one in bexley, but my excitement was reignited as I sat at the fishinger/riverside light, waiting for my arrow to turn, and I spotted this w,g, grinders location. I agree with people on here that the inside seriously looks like a Seinfeld set that's been sitting in storage since So obviously old and there's just random stuff sitting around like hour energies and donation boxes. Cold case just had like... A cheesecake in a box? And was full of condensation. I wanted a grinder with chicken instead of artichokes, easy and got that. With a little bit of attitude. Asked for a salad and was charged for it, but didn't get it at all. Also it took at least minutes for my sandwich and I watched the guy the whole time as he was making it and I honestly couldn't tell what he was doing half the time. I purchased a Groupon for a party pack to feed my family while we were in Columbus. Upon ordering, the woman told me I could only get cold pasta. I called back later that day and was told we could get the hot pasta, no problem. They were nice enough to let me spit up my order, sub's one night, pasta and salad the next. The sub's were amazing! Mike and Moe, thanks for making some awesome food!!!
I love their subs, but the place needs some major repair 3 of the 4 bar stools for pick up/waiting are broken. They don 't offer all of the sides to go anymore and they 've started taking on miscellaneous vendors like good humor ice cream and dippin dots. The place is cluttered. Spend time on fixing store and focus on the subs and the sides that made you famous.

I hadn't visited a Grinders in years, but I stopped by for dinner on Friday evening. They had an amazing manager's special: a 6-inch sub, chips, a drink, and a cookie for just $6.99! Count me in! The sub was fresh, hot, and delicious, just like I remembered. I’ll definitely be returning!

wonderful chicken parmesan calazone and European salad and chocolate chip cookies. everyone was so nice and I love eating. will be back.
