I live in Memphis, Tennessee, but I drive to Alvin, Texas a couple of times a year to visit my family. We always look forward to a visit to Whataburger. On Sunday, April 3, 2022, we ordered three burgers and one junior burger, along with fries and drinks. After waiting 57 minutes in the drive-thru, our order arrived cold and incorrect. It seemed like the burgers we received had been rejected and returned by a previous customer, yet they were used to fulfill our order. We ended up throwing them away. I feel insulted! I took a bite of a burger that was not fresh and borderline cold. I live just 30 seconds down the road, so there’s no reason my food should be cold. At the very least, it should be warm. Tonight, they even messed up my burger, and I still had hopes that it would be enjoyable, but I was severely disappointed. I don't even want to mention that the first fry I ate was cold, or that two of my side orders were also at room temperature. I've wasted money at this place, and I’ve never complained like this before. After tonight, I will seriously reconsider ordering from here again. If I do choose to order again and encounter these issues, I will definitely speak with a manager to express my concer...

I used to visit this place often, but I don't think the evening is the best time to go. More often than not, my burger is missing something, and tonight it was undercooked. At least they still offer cheese. The food hasn't been hot on my last few visits either. This time, my burger was lacking ketchup and pickles. They also no longer provide napkins. Overall, this restaurant has really declined.

Service was terrible. Repeated order twice still came out wrong . Girl behind counter was rude and extremely disrespectful. Had to back to counter twice once for screwed up order then to get napkins. Place smelled like the bathroom. Store was dirty with spilled ketchup and paper debris on floorNot the only customer with complaint just the only one to speak up. This location has really improved lately, and I hope they maintain this level of quality. The two Whataburgers in Pearland near 288 are more convenient for me, but the service there is so poor and slow that I’m willing to drive miles out of my way to come here at night when other places are closed.

After several years away from Whataburger, we decided to revisit the restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The fries were cold and unappealing, and although the burger had good flavor, it was quite soggy. We don’t plan on returning to Whataburger in the future.
