Wheatsheaf - Reservar una mesa

Richard and Val have only recently taken over the pub so some reviews are well out of date. Richard takes great pride in his real ales and Val has a great reputation for her food; they are very experienced in the trade. the pub is bright and airy and welcoming and Jack the parrot always has a hello. I have been several times and the real ales have always been spot on {try Adnams Ghostship if it is on an excellent bitter and have had lunch on two occasions and the food has been excellent. I am really pleased that the pub is now getting a good name and trade is picking up

Fuimos allí para mi cumpleaños y al principio estaba preocupado de que éramos las únicas personas en el restaurante toda la noche y la decoración es un poco cansado. . .Sin embargo, compensa con un servicio muy amable y la comida fantástica.Este lugar merece ser más transitadas.Jack el parrot es también muy agradable!

Richard and Val doing an excellent job with the Wheatshief, food is home cooked so deliciousespecially Val's steak pie best I've ever had would definitely recommend a meal here. Also has Sunday carvers and that was fantastic too xxx
