Wouldn't recommend. Mussels weren't cleaned properly so still had beards attached, were over cooked and many of the shells were broken. Hummus tasted just like blitzed tinned chickpeas, couldn't taste any lemon, tahini, garlic or olive oil. Batter on the fish was soggy. French fries were stale and under seasoned. Very expensive considering the modest portion sizes and lackluster quality. 4 out of 10, would have been less but the sourdough was excellent.
Just popped in for a quick pint. Had so much of a lovely view from our seat in the window looking out into the harbour we stayed for a couple of hrs. Very welcome staff and fair as she informed me their was no food as the kitchen was closed that day before she pulled my pint but I wasn’t worried as only having a drink. Great place to visit and just relax.
Live in Mevagissey. Had high hopes when it was taken over. But nope, same poor business sense, not wanting to pay a chef for breakfasts. Also gone back to allowing smoking outside. Awful.... Will not be returning a d a shame as we own a popular B&B and will be telling all guests to avoid. New owner also seems quite rude!
we had a few dishes which were ok but had the seafood linguine and it was terrible , i i could taste was very chewy overcooked muscles so left it , i wasn’t offered a refund just a glass of wine on the house which i refused . Reserva una mesa ahora
Lunch before harbour boat trip. Tasty food friendly service. Not the cheapest but we really enjoyed our food drinks. I had the sea bass although not the biggest was very tasty.
First day of our weeks holiday and stumbled on the Wheelhouse. Food and service were both exemplary. We will be back asap. The belly pork, ace.. Staff were attentive.
