Went with a group of 6. We were there around 5pm. They seemed quite short staffed. Had to wait quite a while to get drink order. Then we waited even longer for our food to come out. Most all of us ordered Entre's. We were asked what side we would like so we asked what the sides were to pick from. The server DID NOT tell us that there was an UP charge for most of the items she listed. Therefore we were charged extra for onion rings and caesar salad. Now to the food. . . Came into town to take family to local attraction for my mom birthday, decided we'd go for dinner before hand. I called during the week and made reservation since it'd be a bout group on Saturday night, when we arrived everything was ready for us including the booster seat and high chair for the kids. They had us in an area all alone, so we let the kids play and run around since other guest would not be disturbed. The staff did not get upset by this and said it was ok. Our server was excellent, answered all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. I visited this restaurant with my little sister this past Sunday at about 4 pm after having played laser tag at Laser Quest nearby. We were at the restaurant for approximately an hour hour and a half because the food took so long to make, and then it came with the wrong order (fries instead of the proper sides we ordered). The waitress did get us the correct sides and didn't charge extra but the service was slow. Maybe the waitress was having an off day but she forgot just about everything we asked her refills, the correct orders, to get the bill, etc. Nonetheless, the food was good. My family and I were visiting from out of town and during a recent trip to Kitchener, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. We chose to sit on the patio and it was lovely. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. If you have the option of fries or a house salad with your meal, definitely go with the salad. The fries are standard everywhere, but the house salad was exceptional. We selected the blue cheese dressing and it was absolutely perfect.
Initially, I mistook this restaurant for being connected to the nearby entertainment venue, so I did not consider dining there. However, I soon discovered that it is actually a beautifully decorated sports bar pub that offers outstanding service, a great atmosphere, and delicious comfort food. It is an ideal spot for a family dinner or a night out with friends enjoying wings and beer.
I have to say that Melody and the staff at Howl knocked it out of the park!!! They put together a amazing spread for my kids who were married this weekend past! The food was perfect, and everything they promised was on point! The price point was amazing, and I would recommend anyone looking for a venue for a party to talk to Melody!!! Thank you all so much!
