We were thinking that there would be a view of the water from the restaurant, however, the only view of the water that we saw was from the parking lot. The restaurant itself is basically a bar inside a well-kept old building so the ambiance isn't as romantic as I had hoped. Everything else was absolutely perfect! Our waitress, Venessa, was very professional and attentive. My steak was perfectly cooked and quite a bargain at $22 $20 $2 for sauteed mushrooms added on top). My wife enjoyed her chicken entree as well. Out Manhattans were very good and also the Bordeaux wine was nice. We will be back.
My experience on 7/18 at this restaurant was not the best. I ordered a vodka lemonade, but it didn't have much vodka in it. Then I ordered a burger and asked for it to be cooked medium, but it came out well done and very dry. We had to flag down our server to remove my husband's meal from the bill since he was already finished. The artichoke dip was good, as was the chili. Overall, it was not a great experience and I will probably choose a different restaurant next time.
The restaurant is situated just west of the Detroit River and the water makes an excellent back drop. We ate outside which we wanted and our server was excellent. Only negatives were two dogs that were barking quite a bit (there was a dog walking event down the street from the restaurant, not their fault) and we were told that the vegetable was green beans and we got broccoli. However, we would dine there again without hesitation!
My husband and I made reservations. Only to stop our plans, drive over an hour and no one was there!!! He called them 4x's, someone FINALLY picked up...only to tell us they are doing carryout.

just a few vegan choices, including pretzel bites (not too toss in parm), salate, veggie burger (not shown in the menu) and a pasta dishes. they even have free rolls!
Dining outdoors was pleasant. The Mac n cheese with pulled pork was delicious. The portion size was larger than anticipated. I highly recommend it!

Seating was great. Social distancing in place. Waitress was friendly, food was awesome!
