Whistle Stop At The American Cafe

I can't believe Vickie enough that we always feel so special while we at the Whistle Stop. Tonight we drove with our 2 years old The Polar Express. Vickie was there to welcome everyone. She led us to the roof for hot cocoa and cookies through the fire with Santa. Then we'll take the train down and get the city before we eat again. Our food was delicious (as always) and our sweet boy Gatlin loved watching the train inside while playing with his special Christmas tea that came with his meal. The Whistle Stop was always one of our favorites, but tonight it was a place we hope to return even for every Christmas. What a special and unforgettable holiday night we had! I don't usually evaluate myself, but Whistle Stop is one of our favorite places. My two guys love this place! Its very child-friendly, but the food is quality unlike many places where you don't really have both. We were here several times when I can count and were always well treated and never had a complaint with our food. Thanks Whistle Stop!!

The burgers are top notch! I can personally recommend the Black and Blu. The house made chips are good and crispy. Our Hickory BBQ wings were awesome! Good clean atmosphere and restaurant!

We'll eat lunch and dinner three times last night. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is great. In a way, I would not recommend that we not have to wait next time :

2 waitress out and only 2 working. The service was out standing and the food was amazing!!! We will gladly drive from Charleston for this food again!!!
