the industry fights for chefs, but I don't feel that this is an excuse for a bad one. we, as a nation can in any case cook a roast, it is our standard. well done to make their own yorkie, although it was flat, at least. The rest was very bad and the only thing that saved the plate was the veg. put it the fryer than their new benchmark and they will be a better cook, I'm sorry for the feedback, but if they don't have it, they won't go any further. a lot of luck and I'm sure they get it right. x
I hadn't been to The White Horse all that much before lockdown when everyone started raving about their takeaway burgers (which are great I would also add in their sweet potato fries Since then they've become a firm favourite whether to eat in or...takeaway and I'd highly recommend. Food is always lovely and the owners seem great with a family-first and family-friendly attitude which I highly respect. Will be back for many more veggie burgers in the future!
We met friends for a Sunday lunch in the White Horse, without knowing what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent with good meat, fresh well cooked vegetables and Yorkshire puddings all round (I gave mine to our friends as I...am gluten intolerant The chipolatas and gravy were gluten free for all of us and delicious. We were on holiday and decided to eat here using Eat Out To Help Out . We booked the previous day and a table was reserved . The staff were very polite and helpful they were following strict covid measures and cleaning surfaces and made...sure everyone used sanitiser . The food was cooked to order and was hot and tasty .
Whilst staying the The Mill, the food was dreadful. Decided to walk into town. Found this pub and Popped in for a quick drink. Stayed all day. Staff amazing, manager excellent, food tasty and good value, atmosphere perfect. Would highly recommend. Why is this not...5/5 on every review. Just wish it was my local!
Popped in for a pint and snack and were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel most welcome. The food was great and we had a selection of Tapas which was clearly freshly cooked and very tasty. As a Camra member there were...three real ales on tap and clearly well kept. Recommended
The White Horse has just given us the best takeaway burgers .....ever ! Thank you ! Fresh, hot , and yummy ! Everyone , all 6 of us cleared every crumb . We will be back for more , would recommend. Looking forward to going...in when they re open .

had a nice lunch break with the family. the food, the very good value and the great landlord/wife and the staff we could not harm. will definitely return and would highly recommend. the homemade koleslaw was delicious.
Jubilee dinner .service eating and cleanliness was very good. food perfectly cooked and service was excellent.
