Absolutely delicious food. Popped in for lunch and didn't regret it one bit. Great menu selection, fresh produce and whilst traditional pub food, what makes it so good is that it's homemade with a contemporary twist. First class; good portions, top quality, with a very friendly and welcoming licensee and staff. Definitely going back for more, along with our Sunday lunch! Very much enjoyed our visit on Saturday lunchtime. Proper traditional old pub, nothing fancy but clean, bright and well presented. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, not too many customers today. The staff were speedy and professional while still interacting amicably with customers, many clearly locals. The food was plentiful, tasty, and reasonably priced. This is a great pub with very good food in good portions! The owners are very welcoming and also very efficient. We came as a group of 7 walkers and they looked after us very well!! Highly recommended as is the flexible menu with lots of choices! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
