Went here to watch one of the rugby world cup games, nice pub with what seemed a few locals but friendly nonetheless. Staff were friendly and helpful and the beef burger was the best I've had in a long time, I'd go back for the burger alone! It felt homemade and was cooked to perfection! Only downside is that they played music instead of the rugby commentary so it was hard to know what was happening but it was a Saturday night so it makes sense to have some music! Superb fish n chips and incredible value at £6.95. Lovely and efficient staff. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you have a good appetite as portions are large.
