Enjoyed our dinner at Whole Hog Cafe we stayed at the Marriott hotel and they recommended the restaurant for a quick hot meal so we thought we’d give them a try. Good Decision it was delicious. We ordered the pulled pork plate with 2 sides. The pork was flavorful, warm and tender. The atmosphere was relaxed and the restaurant was clean and orderly. You go to the counter to order then get your own drinks from the fountain. They also serve a simple glass of wine $5 (various types) and there’s beer on tap also. This place has won many bbq competions 15-20 years ago. However, competition bbq is different from restaurant bbq. The brisket seemed to have been shaved and not sliced. It was paper thin. Perhaps to hide the dryness like the ribs. They were dry and had no flavor either. Same for the pulled pork. The ribs were also dry but salty. Maybe I got day old meats since I was there not long after they opened. The baked beans were too salty for my liking and I use salt liberally. I could not finish the potato salad. Whole hog Cafe has excellent BBQ and great customer service. You are one of the few restaurants on site (in NLR/Little Rock) I can remember that consistently gives you a great product. I am a big fan of her pulled pork, potato salad and zeasarsalate with pulled pork. Below is a photo of her Caesar salad with pulled pork, ranch and her #3 sauce. Delicious!

Dropped in for lunch. Ordered the pulled pork plate with potato salad and baked beans. Also came with a roll. The pulled pork was moist and tender, excellent. The potato salad was kind of bland; the baked beans were flavorful. The roll was dry. They have six sauces to choose from to put on your meat.

Honestly, you? Service, atmosphere and price were good! The only thing I met was the price for a 16 ounce draft beer?. $5.00 bucks. Can?t go this route especially if I can buy a 30pk Bud light for $30.00? BUT, this setup gets a 5 star from me!!

Good place for bbq, they have lots of championships. The ribs are really good with a really good smoke ring on them and a rub crust. What I really liked was their Bbq sauce flavors, they have 6 of them, you should try #6 and #4 for sure.

Our first time visiting and let me tell you... you're in for a treat...amazing food....everything in the menu is DELICIOUS!! Extraordinary customer service...thank you Joy Manager for making us feel so welcome!!

The food was good and well smoked. The sauces are amazing. I would have gave them a 5 but I don’t want to over sell it. On a positive note… I went almost at closing time and everything was still good.

Probably one of the best BBQ places I've ever been in my life. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is from this world. Try the whole sauce!

We came all the way from California for some good Barbecue, and we found it here! Everything was delicious ? They even had Gumbo! Glad we stopped by.
