Came for Sunday brunch. First know that they have a DJ spinning on weekends. Next, make a reservation if you can. It will help with seating. We started with drinks: Icey 2.0 for the wife. Rum punch for me. Both excellent. Next, we did appetizers: the strip club wings skillet cornbread. I dont eat cornbread like that anymore, but I'll eat theirs all day, any day. That blueberry jam and brown sugar butter takes it to another level! And the wings are really good too, even with the yogurt drizzle on them. This restaurant lived up to my expectations. From sit down to exit. I ordered a Guava Paloma and it was well presented and well executed. Not over powered and well balanced. My guest ordered the NYC Nutcracker and was able to taste all flavors. The cornbread was very popular and very good. It is worth the wait as it is served fresh and hot. Great starter!!! Heard about this place so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered the ox tail to go. Not what I expected. Too much gravy. It was very dark, thick and definitely salty. My go to place for Soulfood. Good portion, variety consistent. My fav are baked chicken, mixed vegetables collard greens. Yummy!
