Wickford On The Water

On our tour of New England we landed in the town of Wickford, RI for an evening because USA Today listed it is the number one small town in America. We walked downtown while we waited for our table at Wickford on the Water. The service was great. Thefood was delicious! I ordered the lobster cobb salad which was out of this world. Everything on it was the Beast it couldpossibly be. It was not a cheap salad because of the lobster meat but it was 100% worth it. I highly recommend dining here onyour way through RI or more frequently if you live closer.

I had the vegan burger (with meat), it was delicious. The caramelized onions were a nice touch. I really like it that it specifies that the bungalow is also vegan. The only thing I wasn't sure was the pages (they are not marked on the menu, making me nervous). Although I was good, it wasn't different from other vegan burgers I had, so I wouldn't go out my way to try this place. If you're in Wickford looking for a vegan meal, this is a good option.

I left the hummus and veggie wrap and the cheese. It was very good and fill, but I wish there were more vegan options on the menu, as the only vegan thing (if you did the substitutions like I did) was the vegan burger. I think it was an Beyond Meat Burger and since the taste of meat to me from rough I prefer a veggie burger that tastes like beans or other vegetables.

Beautiful restaurant everywhere, not a very vegan-friendly menu, but a very vegan-friendly staff, like (except the obvious vegan burger) they were helpful and aware what was, was not, and what could be made vegan. Btw, the Vegan Burger is a Jenseits Burger. If you are in the area and with non-vegan people, viable option.
