You walk past a brewery on your way there. Let's start with the beer. You buy from a window through which you gain a little glimpse of the tradition of the place. Writing this review for the restaurant associated with the hotel at Keßlerstraße as it does not have an entry on Tripadvisor. We went last night and had an amazing meal. I had the Pork steak (Schweinenackensteak) with hash browned potatoes (brat kartoffeln) and wirsing...(a cabbage). Husband had Spannferkel (baby pork grilled on a spit) with Kloss (potato dumplings). Delicious. We shared a **** Mary soup- too many onions for me, husband loved it. The beer is their own, and very good. The service was incredible. Fast and friendly. Just Ok. Can't say that I will come back here. There is no view, unlike the Speziel Keller, and the menu is small. So if you are a vegetarian, there is one plate of cheese with 2 pieces of bread, and then some bread or pretzels with pickles. Otherwise, it is meat oriented, and as it is now warm spring/summer, there is more of a Brotzeit, rather than a dinner menu. Lots of different beers, tho I wasn't thrilled with their Radler. My cheese plate was 3 slices of swiss, 2 pieces of Camembert, 2 pieces of rye bread, butter, a pickle, quark, and a herb cheese spread. The surroundings are beautiful! Plenty of parking and fun way to get your food and beverage. The food was great, though the lady at the counter was absolutely grumpy after a long, warm day. in bamberg, where they can experience the history in full, they should not return without a smoked beer. rauchbier is legendary here. it has the consistency of a tee garden, but all people there gather after dinner and drink soot beer.

in hot weather, the bamberger flows into the wild rose cellar on the Stephansberg.Cattle trees and plenty of rest ensure perfect relaxation.But in the cooler season you feel well in the local with a green and good broth time.

I am sure this brie garden is busy with activity in a non covid year. We still had a great time with friends. The beer was great and food too! Very nice atmosphere.
