I really want to recommend this place and get it bumped up the list of top restaurants in Badenweiler, not least because it is German in a town full of Italian restaurants (why??? Good hearty dishes, massive portions, traditional decor. They also have a menu in English which is a bonus. I am suitably embarrassed by my terrible 'O ' Level German and deserve to struggle with my 'Gutedelrahmsuppe ' and 'tannengerauchter schwarzwalder schinken 's but it was a relief to be handed a full translation!

and the inside and without a crisp. in summer you sit in the shaded garden industry, in winter in the cozy stubble or the closed veranda with views of the burg baths. the card varied, which eat excellent, the portions generous, the prices moderate and the service friendly and attentive.

This is a great local place with local dishes and local prices (meaning great value). If you want to discover the real local dishes, this is the place. The size of the dishes is generous. I can recommend the menu of the day: about ten options, all with soup and salad for 10-14 euros.

It is a traditional, friendly and cheap hotel and restaurant. We were well received despite an hour a little late for the Allemagne. everything was very correct and cheap at all. The staff was very kind.

Nice little restaurant in lovely Badenweiler with good local food and a feel for localness ... would recommend the Schnitzel !
