I have been going here for 5 years. Until now, I looked forward to my Sunday morning brunch takeout. I placed my order for the Eggs Benedict vegetarian style no eggs, no meat deconstructed. To my horror, the kitchen actually sauteed my spinach in the same pan that BACON WAS FRIED IN. The spinach made mouth and lips start tingling, as I have had cross contamination before and had to call 911 due to severe allergic reaction. I immediately returned to the restaurant and showed the manager the spinach with ACTUAL BACON BITS STILL IN IT!!!!!! Wanted to dine here for lunch, but was told there would be a 20-30 minute wait. Had a schedule, so will have to try again later. There were plenty of vacant tables, so staffing may have been the issue. 7/27/24 Have been back a couple of times, and the food has been great, the staff friendly and very attentive, and the atmosphere pleasant. Today 's lunch included the MJ -fried green tomato toasted rye sandwich with L, T and goat cheese. It was delicious and tasty. The fried tomato coating was crispy and had a faint spice which enhanced the sandwich so much. The food is enjoyable, although it seems a bit expensive considering the portion sizes. The service can be quite slow at times. I've visited a few times and have experienced issues with drink refills; we would request them, but the server often seemed to forget. That said, the staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is decent, typically busy during lunch, and the setup can be somewhat noisy and echoey, which can feel a bit overwhelming. However, it's not too bad. The quick food service makes it a convenient option for a work lunch!

I have never been disappointed by a meal at this restaurant. I've visited numerous times, and almost every time, including my most recent visit, the service from order to table is impressively quick. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and they offer a variety of hot teas for those like me who enjoy a warm cup at any time, as well as freshly baked desserts. Absolutely delightful! The MJ sandwich is fantastic and a definite standout, especially when paired with the fried green tomatoes. I highly recommend the pasta salad as a side. Additionally, they offer enormous cream puffs that are simply heavenly! If cream puffs aren’t your thing, the peanut butter bar is also a great option for those with a sweet tooth, and the portion sizes for the bars are quite generous. Overall, it’s a charming spot with a lovely atmosphere and consistently excellent food.

It had been too long since I ate here, so I just peeked in to see the goody counter, asked about the soup and had to try it! Very welcoming environment, the H&C coffee- mmm, aromatic and fresh! The black mushroom soup had just the right spice, not overpowering and their take on the fried green tomato sandwich is a real twist from the norm. Thank you, kindly for my delicious impromptu lunch!

Although the food is fresh-ish which I appreciate, please tell me why your hummus is sesame mango. That should be on the menu. And the fact that pita is deep fried. The millet patty was super dry flavorless. The special sauce seemed to be vinegar made it worse. Hubs had the chicken noodle soup which came with spaghetti noodles??? Overall disappointing.

I visited for a Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised. I can honestly say it's one of the rare occasions where I left a brunch feeling satisfied before I even finished my meal. I did end up grabbing a couple of brownies to take home, though! Reserva una mesa ahora

Service was efficient, but the food was meh to disappointing. The breakfast burrito was fine, but nothing special; the Wagyu hash verged on inedible—tasted more like a salt mine than anything.

Even my snooty vegan sister loved it.She said the red beans and rice will change your life. Food was great service was perfect. Would recommend
