"I admit...i am a serious coffee snob but the coffee at Wildpeak is second to now in the area and as good as you can get. Perfect Saturday morning is a SUP on lake Ageri followed by a latte at Wildpeak, wonderful place to catchup and watch the world go by."

This place deserves to be No. 1!!! I was looking for a quiet place to read and work on my laptop (while my husband was at a conference) and this was the PERFECT spot! The coffee was lovely (Caffe latte goes for about 4-5 CHF, which is normal), chocolate cookie was okay (after taste a little off), but blueberry muffin was PERFECT (moist, not too sweet, just right!). Unlike some places that can feel a little dark, this place is bright and airy with a bank of windows, and it makes the perfect atmosphere for working, reading or enjoying a coffee & snack (pastries around 3.5 CHF). This is obviously a local favourite as there were loads of friendly locals popping in and out, getting together and h...

Read the reviews before deciding to visit. Wanted coffee & cake....obviously all previous reviewers visited on a good day!Service ok. Shockingly poor lack of choice of cakes - photos showed scones etc, no such luck. And no savory choices at all - were with 2 children 10 & 12.Latte macchiato was ok - no different from anywhere else in Zug. Not worth the drive. And I am not a complainer at all...went on the 5* reviews...Highly disappointing.

My wife and I took Mark's coffee class which provides an introduction to the world of coffee science and coffee making. Then we went behind the bar and made our own espressos and cappuccinos for the next hour. It was a fantastic experience and Mark is incredibly knowledgeable and patient with his students. I would highly recommend it. He can do it in English and German.

Great coffee from the young lady who was a qualified level one barista professional. God knows there should be more places in Switzerland that can do a decent coffee, fresh roasted coffee beans together with a machine that needs to extract the flavour of the beans and being able to finish of with a great milky froth...I will be back..!
