Wildwood Public House

I typically don't write reviews, but I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I had high expectations for the service based on the reviews, but unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. We had to wait a long time to place our orders, our water was forgotten, and it seemed like our waitress didn't like us. We even had to go to the counter to pay our bill because no one checked on us. The salad with spicy tofu was good, as well as the pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It's a shame that I'll be in the area for a few months, but I won't be returning to this establishment.

We had a good experience at the restaurant and would like to visit again. We came in on Saturday for Oktoberfest and the place was quite full, with many patrons enjoying the patio. It was great to see such strong support for a local business. Since it was busy, we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. My favorite part of the meal was the pizza, so I am definitely interested in trying more items on their menu. They had some craft beer options available, although we would have liked to see more choices. Overall, it was a positive dining experience.

The restaurant offers delicious food in a spacious and inviting environment with ample seating, a pool table, and a pizza oven located behind a tantalizing display of various hot sauces. However, the downside is the poor service we experienced during our last visit. On a slow weekday, our waitress seemed to be under the influence and took nearly 20 minutes to bring us water. We were exhausted from a hike and in need of hydration, but she kept us entertained with the pool table instead.

This restaurant is perfect for a relaxed evening outdoors. The food is delicious, the customer service is excellent, and sometimes there is live music. I would suggest this place to anyone looking to enjoy a pleasant evening with friends, family, or a special someone.
