Had afternoon tea. Was strange to have to pick just one sandwich filling, but we all had different so shared. Meat was very fresh and not stingy on filling. Scone was lovely but the cake had too much buttercream and was overly sweet. Tea was really nice as was the cake pop/truffle. Was a bit cramped and unfortunately there was an overpowering smell of BO which put us off our food slightly. Would go again for a cuppa but wouldn’t bother with the afternoon tea again.
Just got back from having afternoon tea for mothersday and the atmosphere was lovely and so were the cakes. my mum said it was so nice to have all the family together for tea but not to have to clean up after. If you are looking for somewhere to go for a nice piece of homemade cake this is the place to go, thankyou for making mothersday so special.
such a relaxing atmosphere with good service and great eating. would recommend to anyone who think of going to an afternoon tea and experiencing this tea room, it deserves 5 stars and more
