I really like that chilled atmosphere that comes with a Viet cafe. It's a different chilled to the casual aura you get from a hip Surry Hills cafe or a coffee catchup at Starbucks or Gloria Jeans. It's more rowdy, usually situated in a popular street of a Viet area, where people walk to and fro and many Vietnamese men sit and drink their strong iced coffee with the lovely condensed milk taste. With a simple shop design, cluttered seats, fresh fruit smoothies and dessert shakes decorated in little Thai umbrella toothpicks and little tapioca jelly jubes, all this sums up the feel of the Viet cafe vibe.
cafe in bankentown, which has an exciting menu of different drinks and desserts, many that they would not find easily elsewhere, maybe vietnamese specific. I ordered the viet white ice cream with taro ice cream from serendipity for $9.50 quite expensive for a drink. the coffee was surprisingly super strong, and my taro ice cream tasted not really like taro, but was still delicious. so or so, a decent place to chill and chat.
came first time because of a recommendation from a friend here and I would have to say it was a nice experience. had my first sticky reiseis and it was absolutely amazing. we sat in the stands, but there was a larger sitting area that had very food-friendly vibes. we also noticed that the music, as the time later (7-7:30 clock) gradually became louder, probably due to a customer change later in the night.
Window’s Coffee is the bright orange cafe along busy Chapel Road in Bankstown. Parking is conveniently located in the big parking lot next door. There are quite a few restaurants nearby serving Vietnamese food but we’ve heard that the flavours aren’t authentic so stick to the good old Thang Long for the good quality affordable Vietnamese tucker.

the ice creams here tried and did not like it. decided to get a taro latte and noticed how expensive it was at over $7. they use taro ice cream. was quite hesistate about it, but was very surprised how good it is! will definitely be back to try sesame and the green tee latte. environmental is not too good. feels pretty dirty and cold.
A Vietnamese café with tacky decorations, loud pop music on screen and an extensive ice cream selection. Large, multi-scoop options are served in tall oversized cocktail glasses with red syrup and paper umbrellas that verged on tackiness overload but which also seemed to work for the venue overall.
Chilled out place, workers probably too chilled as well. Service is quite ordinary. I have to grab their attention to get my order. Ice-cream is okay I suppose. Vietnamese ice coffee black/white is the thing they're good at.
in this place for an egg and a few shake. the ice is 1.5 stars of 5 and the avocado and coconut mix shake is from this world, very shocking. I've never thrown a full shake in my mouth. I saw a good rating. very disappointing

Tea bag tea served in a mug, they can at least put it in a pot for refill. Green tea latte was sweet but nice. V-pop blasting overhead makes it hard to chat. The free Wi-Fi is a plus.
