Windsor Steak Seafood Restaurant Bar

Stopped by on the way home to celebrate my return home and check out a new restaurant. However, we were disappointed by several things.First, it was not busy ar all! Usually on Saturday afternoon/evenings, you'd expect a restaurant with good food/service to have at least a few customers. But, in fact, I know that it was slow, because the parking lot was empty and when we got inside, there were at least 4 employees standing there, talking to each other and there was only one other couple in the dining room. Great restaurant with great atmosphere and great food. We made a reservation here this last Friday evening at 8.00 pm based on a recommendation from a friend. We were visiting from out of state and the staff treated our fidgety young 18 month toddler like family. Waiters did a superb job with him. Food was excellent. Would definitely come back to this restaurant next time I'm in the Hartford CT area.Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring a 18 month toddler. Waiters were friendly and patient with ours.Parking: Good parking.

We finally made it to Windsor Steak and Seafood. I ordered the shrimp pasta which was presented well and my husband had the ribeye. The food was good. The service on the other hand needs work. The waiter was busy on his phone, never really checked on us, barely even wanted to serve us. I’m not sure what’s going on here but based on that we probably won’t be back. We live in this wonderful town and generally love to support our local businesses but we can do without sh,.y service.

I love this restaurant. The food is always good and the female wait staff is great. The males, are on the rude side....one time throwing steak knives across the table when we requested them to cut our steaks. Every time we dine here, I am so annoyed with the lighting. Fluorescent lighting in a fine dining establishment is the worst. Please...please ...please put in recessed lighting that can be dimmed to make for a romantic dining experience. I ordered to go and was very disappointed. My husband has been encouraging me ti order from here and I finally did.The French onion soup was good but my crab cakes were horrible. Actually, it was the worst I have ever had. They were mushy and were mostly crumbs/filler. It taste like they forgot the crab in the crabcakes.So, I ended up throwing away my meal....$28 down the drain.....Very disappointed

We went found this place last second after our previous event was canceled due to weather. We walked in looking like wet rags to this very nice put together restaurant and they welcomed us with open arms! The food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly! I would highly recommend! We met the owner and he was just so incredibly kind! Will be back again!

Absolutely fabulous. Food excellent! Service wonderful! We ate on the patio. Maybe some music outside would be nice? Looking forward to next time!Wheelchair accessibility: We ate on patio but I did see a chair lift inside.Dietary restrictions: GF selections available.

This place is the best food ever! So amazing from the drinks to the apps dinner and desert! If you want to impress someone definitely bring them here. We even met the chef! Best experience ever! Reserva una mesa ahora

Bunch of people in town for my mom's 90th, they accommodated 20 of us with a five day notice and knocked it out of the park!
