Since moving from the city to long Island I was on the hunt for soul food and found this place. It was difficult to find when I used my GPS. But overall the wings were ok. The lobster mac was a tad bit spicy which I didn't like. Giving three stars because they ran out of ribs. No corn bread. They only sold cake by the pie not by slice. I wasn't thrilled that I had to wait outside for my Order. The tall gentleman behind the counter was VERY nice. But if those items were available I would have given 5 stars. Maybe I will visit again. I'm 30 minutes away and it was disappointed those items were not available. If you like non spicy mac. Then get the plain mac and cheese. I wish I did that.
My husband and I traveled really far to get to this restaurant because we wanted some southern cooking. Because I have a strong southern background my husband and I were not impressed with the food. The collard greens had too much sugar in them, and the candied yams had more pineapples than yams. But what really annoyed us what’s the customer service. And someone should notify the rude boy at the register that a red Durag and a white T-shirt isn’t appropriate. He should stay in the back with his bad attitude . Never again
This restaurant does not live up to its name when it comes to serving seafood. The seafood mac and cheese was overloaded with cheese and lacked visible lobster, only containing two small shrimp. The fried chicken wings were tasteless and greasy. The sweet potatoes were not yams as expected, but instead cute potatoes resembling baby food. The meal cost $23. I hope the owner Winnie sees this review and makes necessary adjustments to be more respectful of the culture and improve the quality of the dishes.
Lobster and shrimp mac and cheese is amazing. Jerk salmon was almost too salty. Thd salmon was made to ordee, so i appreciate that. The young gentleman behind the counter was pleasant but not too helpful. I was really annoyed that prices arent listed and there isnt a menu on display. That being said i would definitely go back.Please create a menu with approximate prices. I would have been inclined to try more items if i could see the options instead of them being told to me.

Absolutely amazing! The jerk chicken and BBQ pork ribs practically melted off the bone, and the lobster and shrimp mac and cheese was sinfully delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes from the menu. The staff and customers were all friendly and talkative. The portions were generous as well. This is our new favorite spot! Just one small issue; no complaints here.
My bf and I had fried chicken from another place last weekend and was utterly disappointed. Tried this place and I will never order from another restaurant again. We had their jerk chicken, lobster Mac and cheese, fried chicken and corn on the cob. Everything was beyond delicious.
great food with friendly service. I would give Winnie's five stars if they were offered more match with theirs. I understand that they are in the middle of a shift and look forward to giving them a five-star rating when they offer tees, baked goods, etc.
Outstanding tasting food Fresh sautéed shrimp with secret sauce seasoning hit the proverbial “spot” Very satisfying well balanced -try it you’ll love it A new go to takeout favorite on the south shore!

I went to this restaurant for the first time and the food was absolutely delicious! The server, a young man, was very friendly and helpful.
The young sever is rude and nasty rolling his eyes when asked about the food
