My family and I have stayed at the Premier Inn next door a few times. It's obvious that this restaurant hasn't been updated since its last renovation five years ago. During our most recent visit, towards the end of Covid, there were issues with food supply, which we understood. The staff were really helpful and did their best under the circumstances. However, we were disappointed with the meals this time. Last night, there were no steaks available, no potatoes, and some drink ingredients were also missing. The self-serve toaster was broken and hadn't been replaced yet. Small things like marmalade were also not available. Some of the staff, especially the lady who worked the weekend breakfast...
Visited the Winning Post to catch up with family again and as normal they did not disappoint. Everyone had a fantastic time along with great food and attentive staff who really take care of your needs. I had a wonderful chicken skewer and was really surprised to find steak and chips on the kids menu that my little one loved. As always thanks Jacqui and team we will be back to see you again soon!!
After passing by this restaurant, we decided to stop in for a quick snack. The food was of good quality and the service provided by Jack was excellent. He was fantastic with my 4-year-old son, engaging with him and even demonstrating how to cut his sausages, which was adorable. Jack checked in on us frequently to ensure we were satisfied. We would definitely come back again.
Arrived here and was greeted by the delightful Kerry she was so helpful, I was a solo traveler so she put me in a quiet spot. Looked after me and even lent me a charger for my phone as I left it at home.. Great experience Thanks again Kerry 10/10

If you happen to be in that area of London, this is the perfect spot for a delicious meal. The atmosphere is laid-back and the steak prepared by Chef Karol is incredible! I highly recommend it.
Went on a Sunday afternoon for dinner, was concerned as we hadn’t booked but luckily we arrived after the rush and seated straight away! Food really good and plenty of it with great service.
Attached to the premier inn. Best poached eggs I have ever had. Breakfast was lovely. Great service from Sharon, good sense of humour. No complaints at all
Amazing food, absolutely stuffed now. Shout out to kitchen for the food! Staff very friendly. Was served by Kerry and Nix. Definitely will be back!!

Great cook breakfast. Poached egg on coked breakfast were perfect. Nice aray of cerebral, fruit and pastry
