Winston’s Resto - Reserva de mesa

I often find myself forgetting about Winston's, but every time we visit, we always leave raving about the experience and promising to come back more frequently. Last night, we went to the bar side of Winston's for dinner, and there was a fantastic folk fiddle group performing some charming old-time music, which was a delightful surprise! The service was mostly prompt and efficient, and the food ranged from good to excellent. We shared several dishes, including corn lobster chowder (tasty), tempura prawn and vegetables (outstanding), and the beef dip (nice). In my opinion, they have one of the most reliable kitchens in town, and I really need to make it a point to visit more often.

My husband and I visited Winston's last night, July 9th, to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a perfect experience from start to finish—10/10! The food, service, atmosphere, music, and drinks were all outstanding. The setting was quiet and relaxed, making it an ideal night out. We will definitely return! I ordered the prime rib while my husband had the Wild Steak Diane, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The freshly baked bread was a highlight too, accompanied by three different flavored butters. We were so full that we couldn't manage dessert!

We always enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant as it’s conducive to quiet conversation among all ages groups. The seating there is a special treat: large comfortable tapestry chairs and armchairs. The prime rib dish is excellent and our usual pick. Our favourite server, who works so hard to make everything so pleasantly perfect, is Denny.

We had a wonderful dinner, the presentation, the service and the food was perfect. It’s not a huge menu, but a perfect selection. This restaurant is located in the hotel that we always stay at when we visit family in Prince George. We have eaten many meals here and have never been disappointed, with the food or the service. We had our ladies' dinner there last night, and it was fantastic! The prime rib was delicious, and the cheesecake ice cream was absolutely divine. Our server, Calli, was truly wonderful— I made sure to let the manager know that she deserves a raise! We will definitely be returning!

We regret asking the wait staff whether we should seat ourselves or wait, as it resulted in a rude and passive-aggressive response. This negative interaction prompted us to leave right away. I certainly did not take my wife out for breakfast to face such disrespect.

The steak at Winston's was absolutely delicious! Despite ordering it well-done, it remained incredibly juicy. The serving size was also perfect... well, at least until the next day! Just kidding! Overall, my experience at Winston's is always fantastic!
