"Great meal: we had jamboneau and "Joux de porcs" with an excellent Pinot Noir wine. Highly recommended restaurant with the chef coming to check the meal on each table. Marvellous!"

Me and my husband arrived in the city in the end of the afternoon on the Easter Sunday and found only closed restaurants. We had already given up and were walking back to our car when we discovered this restaurant. We were lucky they still had a table free (all others were reserved) and it was simply amazing. The staff was very friendly and the food was beyond words. It had been a while since the last time I've eaten something so delicious. We had a sausage appetizer and as a main dish salmon, shrimps and noodles for me and fish with potatoes for my husband. The portions were generous, nicely presented and very well seasoned. We just couldn't stop eating. We were very sorry we didn't have room to try the desserts. As others said, the staff was always smiling, very polite and showed genuine interest in making us comfortable and happy. Oh, and they also spoke perfect German. It was a bit pricey (about 80€ for both of us) but it was worth every cent. Thank you and we'll definitely pay you another visit when we find ourselves in the region again!

At the end of my family's vacation we stayed in Niederbroon-les-bains. We visited Winstub and thought we are facing a traditional 'Weinerschnitzel-restaurant'. But this place is so much more (and have by the way no schnitzel on the menu). The staff including the Chef are friendly in a way rarely seen and the food is quite simply excellent. We only planned one dinner here but had to come back next evening to try more from the menu. Wine list is good. Prices are generally fair considering the entire experience and quality of the restaurant. Decor is classical, but once you get your meal in front of you nobody looks at the decor anymore. Simply love the people and the place.

Keen and efficient young staff, a good welcome, a pleasant table and an excellent Alsatian menu. Full marks all round fro ambience, efficiency, cuisine and enjoyment. It was good to see a young team so clearly popular, the restaurant being pleasantly filled all evening. Recommended to us by our hostess in nearby Reichshoffen as the best local place to eat; she was certainly right! Best book to be sure to have a table.

I had the entre'cote, others at the table had trout, pork cheeks and pork knuckle. All were delicious and well presented by the charming, efficient owner/server. Service was quick without being rushed in the attractive, comfortable dining room which was inhabited by three dogs in addition to roomful of diners.
