We loved the tour of the winery. We phoned with only one day's notice and the lady on the phone fit us in for the next morning. Michael delivered the tour in both German and English so we could understand, his English was excellent. We were also allowed to arrive early to watch the 4D film in English before the tour started. The wines were delicious and the shop was very good value. Definitely recommend this place! Bike parking was available too.
We did the tour today with our 2 children from 11 and 12 years old. They liked it as much as we did. It was a fun and interacting tour with a 4D movie. We tasted 3 wines and the children tasted 2 kinds of grape juices. Small advice to the organization: everything was in German so maybe it could be interesting to provide a better experience to international tourists/visitors if some parts would be translated in English.
I recommend a tour of the Sandgrube 13 winery for several reasons. You will experience a meeting with the friendly staff, who took care of the two of us in the German-speaking group individually in English. You will see very modern spaces, including a 4D film projection. As a bonus, you will taste 3 wine samples included in the entrance fee. Finally, you can buy excellent wines at very good prices.
such an amazing place! I've toured upwards of 30 wineries and this was by far my favorite. my only complaint was that we were only able to try 3 different wines and all of which were selected for us. Reserva una mesa ahora
Lovely vineyard with delicious wines. Only 10 mins on bike from the Krems train station. Decent tour, though the English translation was very limited.
Tour through Viking Cruises was awesome with 3D video and even smellovision. Sampled 5 wines and have a better appreciation for Austrian white wines.
The tasting was very interesting. Lady shows us process of making wine, and told us special information from behind of making wine.
